Things travelers ask before they book

What flight should I book?+

Pick-up will be no later than 12:00 PM at Malé Velana International Airport.

Please make sure to arrive with enough time, as the private boat arranged for our group cannot wait in case of delayed flights. If you miss the scheduled pick-up, let us know in advance and we’ll coordinate.

Drop-off will be organized individually.

You'll return to the airport on a shared boat from the island, and this transfer is already included in the price. The boat ride takes approximately 30 minutes.

Available departure times:

8:00 AM, 10:30 AM (not available on Fridays), 2:00 PM, 2:30 PM, 5:00 PM, 5:30 PM, 7:00 PM, and 8:00 PM.

Please note that you should arrive at the airport at least 2 hours before your flight.

When is the best time to travel to Maldives?+

Our Maldives trips run from March to April, during the island’s best season for beginners. It’s the best time to enjoy its lush landscapes, quiet beaches, and warm weather. As with any tropical destination, short rain showers can happen, it’s all part of the adventure.

I have never surfed. Can I still come?+

Absolutely. No advanced experience is needed, instruction starts from the basics and the group is mixed-ability.

Is there free time scheduled to explore?+

Absolutely! While we have plenty of activities and experiences planned, there’s also time to slow down and enjoy the island at your own pace.

You’ll have free time to explore, grab a drink at a local bar, relax on the beach, or simply do whatever feels good to you. 🌴💞

I have a special diet. Is there a problem?+

Not at all! We can accommodate different dietary requirements, and the food is delicious too! ;)

Just let us know about any allergies, intolerances, or dietary preferences in advance, and we’ll make sure the team is aware and can accommodate your needs throughout the trip.

Do I need travel insurance?+

Yes, travel insurance is required and is not included in the trip price.

We highly recommend using Iati, with this link you have 10% discount.

What type of accommodation we have?+

You’ll enjoy a double shared room with private bathroom.

Can I travel alone?+

Absolutely! 💞 Maganda Experience was created especially for women who want to travel solo, feel safe, and meet like-minded girls along the way.

You’ll be joining a group of women who are all there to share the experience, make new friends, and create unforgettable memories together. ✨

And of course, you’re more than welcome to bring your friends along too!

Why only girls? +

It's time for girls to travel alone. No more "the world is too dangerous for a girl". Let's support each other to fulfil the dream of going to a country far away from home all alone. Let's make each other feel safe together.

Is there any requirement to come on the trips?+

Being over 18 years old.
