Types of certification

Open Water (OW)
The Open Water certification is a diving license that equips beginners with essential skills. Trained to dive to a maximum depth of 18 meters (60 feet).
Advanced Open Water (AOW)
The Advanced Open Water certification allows you to expand your skills beyond the basics. You'll be able to do dives that the Open Water certification doesn't allow, such as night dives. Dive a maximum depth of 30 meters (100 feet).

Day-by-day itinerary

    The adventure begins! A private van will be waiting at Cebu Airport to pick you up at 11am and transport you to Malapascua. It's a 5-hour trip by car, with a stop along the way. Upon reaching the port, we'll board a private boat to the island. Once in the island we’ll try on our equipment and enjoy a dinner at the resort.

What is the weather like?+

The dry season in Malapascua typically runs from November to May. During this period, the weather is generally warm, with less rainfall and lower humidity, making it ideal for diving and other outdoor activities. The peak of the dry season is usually from January to May, when conditions are particularly favorable.

Do you provide all necessary scuba gear?+

Yes, we provide all necessary scuba gear, excluding dive computers (water watches). However, instructors have one available, or you can rent one per day.

What type of accommodation we have?+

You’ll enjoy a double shared room with private bathroom.

Which dive sites are included in the itinerary?+

Our itinerary includes exploration of the best dive sites around Malapascua, including Kimud Shoal, Monad Shoal, Gato Island, Kalanggaman Island, and four additional sites accessible from the shore.

Are there certified dive instructors available?+

Yes, certified dive instructors are available to accommodate beginners and advanced to ensure a safe and enjoyable diving experience.

Is there free time scheduled to explore?+

Absolutely! While we have plenty of activities and experiences planned, there’s also time to slow down and enjoy the island at your own pace.

You’ll have free time to explore, grab a drink at a local bar, relax on the beach, or simply do whatever feels good to you. 🌴💞

I have a special diet. Is there a problem?+

Not at all! We can accommodate different dietary requirements, and the food is delicious too! ;)

Just let us know about any allergies, intolerances, or dietary preferences in advance, and we’ll make sure the team is aware and can accommodate your needs throughout the trip.

Do I need travel insurance?+

Yes, travel insurance is required and is not included in the trip price.
