We’ll be staying at Akiri Surf Grand, a cozy guest house just 150 meters from the beach and right in the heart of the island. The entire property is reserved exclusively for us, offering a private and peaceful atmosphere.

  • Day 1 - Arrival & Welcome

    Welcome! We're so excited to have you here. After you arrive, take your time settling in and getting comfortable. The afternoon is all about relaxing and easing into retreat mode. In the early evening, we’ll come together for a gentle Surf Stretch Vinyasa session perfect for shaking off the travel stiffness. Then we’ll wrap up the day with a cozy dinner.

  • Day 2 – First Paddle Out

    The morning is dedicated to our first surfing lesson. After lunch, we’ll head out for an exciting Turtle and Dolphin Snorkel adventure in the beautiful waters nearby. In the evening, enjoy some downtime before we meet again for dinner.

  • Day 3 – Surf & Jewelry

    After breakfast, we hit the waves again with a morning surf session. Followed by some free time to rest or explore. In the afternoon, you'll have the chance to get creative in our Jewelry Workshop. We’ll close the day with a relaxed group dinner.

  • Day 4 – Surf & Yoga

    Enjoy a calm morning with breakfast, followed by a fun surf session to start your day. The rest of the day is yours to recharge or explore. In the late afternoon, we’ll do a yoga flow with a Pilates-inspired workout. We’ll come together again in the evening to share a cozy dinner, followed by a movie night.

  • Day 5 – Full Day Boat Trip

    A full day of adventure awaits! After breakfast, we’ll head out for a Full Day Boat Trip. Expect a dolphin cruise, Shipwreck snorkelling, local island lunch, nurse sharks snorkelling and lunch is included on the boat. We’ll return in the late afternoon with plenty of stories to share over dinner.

  • Day 6 – Surf and Sunset

    Start your day with breakfast and a surf session. After lunch, there’s free time to relax before we go together to Sunset Beach for an unforgettable sunset moment. Dinner will be served as usual in the evening.

  • Day 7 – More surf & Painting

    After breakfast and your morning surf, take some time to rest. In the afternoon, tap into your creative side with a Painting Workshop. Enjoy a relaxing evening and another cozy dinner to end the day.

  • Day 8 – Shark & Sting Ray Snorkel

    Following breakfast, we’re off for another memorable Shark & Sting Ray Snorkel Trip! It’s a highlight for many guests, with plenty of excitement and underwater wonder. Afterward, take the rest of the day to unwind before enjoying a laid-back dinner.

  • Day 9 – Surf & Yoga

    Another perfect balance of movement and calm. Begin with breakfast and a morning surf. After lunch, take the afternoon to relax. Later, we’ll join a gentle Yoga Flow with Pilates-style workout, helping you stretch and re-center. Dinner awaits in the evening.

  • Day 10 – Letting Go

    Our last surf session and special afternoon of reflection. We gather for Maldivian BBQ dinner to to honor the journey shared.

  • Day 11 – Departure

    Breakfast, goodbyes, and boat transfer to the airport. You’ll head home with salty hair, sandy toes, and stories you'll be telling for years..

Q&A

  • Pick-up will be no later than 12:00 PM at Malé Velana International Airport.

    Please make sure to arrive with enough time, as the private boat arranged for our group cannot wait in case of delayed flights. If you miss the scheduled pick-up, shared transfer options are available for a $25.

    Drop-off will be organized individually.

    You'll return to the airport on a shared boat from the island, and this transfer is already included in the price. The boat ride takes approximately 30 minutes.

    Available departure times:

    8:00 AM, 10:30 AM (not available on Fridays), 2:00 PM, 2:30 PM, 5:00 PM, 5:30 PM, 7:00 PM, and 8:00 PM.

    Please note that you should arrive at the airport at least 2 hours before your flight.

  • Pick-up and drop-off will be at Male Velana International Airport.

  • Double Shared Rooms with private Bathroom.

  • No problem at all! The hotel is suitable for any kind of diet + the food is very good ;)

  • Our Maldives trips run from March to April, during the island’s best season for beginners. It’s the best time to enjoy its lush landscapes, quiet beaches, and warm weather. As with any tropical destination, short rain showers can happen, it’s all part of the adventure.

  • Maganda Experience was created as an experience where girls travelling alone can feel safe and make like-minded friends. You can also bring your friends!

  • CANCELLATION POLICY 

    Any trip cancellation must be made in writing by sending an email to hello@magandaexperience.com in order to be considered eligible.

    •⁠  ⁠The deposit is non-refundable.

    •⁠  ⁠Cancellations made before 61 days before the trip start date will receive a travel credit equivalent to 50% of the trip's value, valid for 12 months (with the trip to be completed within this period)

    •⁠  ⁠Cancellations made within 60 days before the trip start date unfortunately do not qualify for a travel credit.

    Please note that the majority of services and accommodations are booked and paid to our suppliers 60 days before departure and are not refundable to us.

    Note: Please note that the trip will not be fully confirmed until at least 80% of the available spots are booked. If this is not met 60 days before departure, the organizers have the option to cancel the trip. In such cases, all payments will be fully refunded.
