Types of certification
OPEN WATER (OW)
The Open Water certification is a diving license that equips beginners with essential skills. Trained to dive to a maximum depth of 18 meters (60 feet).
ADVANCED OPEN WATER (AOW)
The Advanced Open Water certification allows you to expand your skills beyond the basics. You'll be able to do dives that the Open Water certification doesn't allow, such as night dives. Dive a maximum depth of 30 meters (100 feet).

Day 1 - Arrival & Welcome
The adventure begins!!! A private van will be waiting at Cebu Airport to pick you up and transport you to Malapascua. It's a 5-hour trip by car, with a stop along the way. Upon reaching the port, we'll board a private boat to the island.

Day 2 – First day of diving
Today, we'll organize into groups based on your chosen package: Beginners will start their certification course. Advanced divers will enjoy two fun dives. Certified divers will also go on two fun dives.In the afternoon, we’ll relax and enjoy a free evening to explore local restaurants for dinner.

Day 3 – Back in the water
Beginners: You will continue with the certificate. Advanced: You will enjoy 2 fun dives more. Certified: You will enjoy 2 fun dives more. In the afternoon, everyone can enjoy a relaxing massage and a free evening to explore more local dining spots for dinner.

Day 4 – Relax & Creativity
After a delicious local lunch at Kaon, the afternoon invites you to unwind and get hands-on in a jewelry workshop using island elements.
As the sun sets, we’ll move into a peaceful yoga flow.
The night ends with dinner, fire dancing, and live music, an unforgettable island vibe.

Day 5 – Dive, Drift & Dine
We’ll head out early for a boat trip to Monad and Kimud. Perfect dive sites for both course dives and certified fun dives. After a morning in the water, we’ll enjoy lunch on board, surrounded by sea and sunshine. The afternoon is all about slowing down, rest, read, or just take it easy.
In the evening, dinner is free to explore local spots and enjoy the island vibe at your own rhythm.

Day 6 – Exploring Gato Island
We’ll start the day with two dives at Gato Island, perfect for beginner, advanced and certified divers. Lunch will be served on the boat, surrounded by sea and silence.
The afternoon is for slowing down. Later, we’ll head back out for a peaceful sunset dive before enjoying a free evening to explore and dine at your own pace.

Day 7 – Snorkel Tour
We’ll spend the morning doing a snorkel tour around the island’s crystal-clear waters, then enjoy lunch under the sun.
The afternoon is all about pure relaxation. As golden hour sets in, we’ll flow into a calming sunset yoga session.
In the evening, we’ll gather for a laid-back pizza night, dinner included.

Day 8 – Kalanggaman Island
Today’s adventure takes us to both Kimud and the stunning Kalanggaman Island, two dreamy dive sites in one trip. Between dives, we’ll enjoy a BBQ lunch on the boat.
The rest of the day invites you to slow down, soak up the sun, and simply be.
Dinner is free to explore the island’s local flavors at your own pace. -

Day 9 – Closure Day
A slow day to fully relax and reflect. Enjoy a laid-back lunch and let the island rhythm guide you.
In the afternoon, we’ll get creative with a painting workshop surrounded by nature.
We’ll close the trip with a special dinner ,a boodlefight feast, painting awards, and a fun karaoke night to celebrate the week together.

Breakfast, goodbyes, and transfer to the airport. You leave with salty hair, full hearts, and memories that will stay with you long after the island fades from view.

Our accommodations consist of two-floor bungalows, with each bungalow accommodating two guests. Each bungalow includes a private bathroom and a small balcony.

All meals are included in the package, and we offer a variety of vegetarian and vegan options to cater to dietary preferences.

Yes, we provide all necessary scuba gear, excluding dive computers (water watches). However, instructors have one available, or you can rent one per day.

Our itinerary includes exploration of the best dive sites around Malapascua, including Kimud Shoal, Monad Shoal, Gato Island, Kalanggaman Island, and four additional sites accessible from the shore.

Yes, certified dive instructors are available to accommodate beginners and advanced to ensure a safe and enjoyable diving experience.

Yes, there is designated free time for guests to explore the island, visit nearby bars, relax on the beach, or engage in other optional activities.

The dry season in Malapascua typically runs from November to May. During this period, the weather is generally warm, with less rainfall and lower humidity, making it ideal for diving and other outdoor activities. The peak of the dry season is usually from December to February, when conditions are particularly favorable.

Travel insurance is not included in our package. We recommend obtaining coverage such as IATI Insurance, which includes comprehensive coverage for all-risk water sports.

CANCELLATION POLICY
Any trip cancellation must be made in writing by sending an email to hello@magandaexperience.com in order to be considered eligible.
• The deposit is non-refundable.
• Cancellations made before 61 days before the trip start date will receive a travel credit equivalent to 50% of the trip's value, valid for 12 months (with the trip to be completed within this period)
• Cancellations made within 60 days before the trip start date unfortunately do not qualify for a travel credit.
Please note that the majority of services and accommodations are booked and paid to our suppliers 60 days before departure and are not refundable to us.
Note: Please note that the trip will not be fully confirmed until at least 80% of the available spots are booked. If this is not met 60 days before departure, the organizers have the option to cancel the trip. In such cases, all payments will be fully refunded.
